Our Ghost World movie night was awesome - thanks to Dan for hosting and thanks to everyone who came out!
We've also started organizing the zine fair (see more info about it below) - pretty exciting!

STITCH N BETCH
Monday Sept. 19th, 7pm at Bennu coffee shop on MLK. Come do crafts and shoot the shit with us, this is open to all genders and all of you. It's every other Monday night, same time and place so come on down!
INTRO DINNER
BETCH is looking for awesome ladies who want to get more seriously involved in what we do. We're having a pot-luck Thursday, Sept 22nd for those who are interested in becoming collective members. Meet us at Chestnut Park at 6:30 PM. Bring stuff to grill!
.B.E.T.C.H. RAG/ZINE FAIR
We're working on the third issue to be out in December, and we have lots of copies of the first and second issue. Do you do a zine? Are you apart of a group or organization putting together a zine? We want to get a comitte together to have a zine fair in December. If you're interested in helping us organize this email us!

OCTOBER DISCUSSION (DATE TBA)
In October there will be a discussion for lady identified folks on friends between women, sexism and internalized oppression. We'll keep you posted on where and when this discussion will happen. If you have ideas for future discussions, or if you're facilitating a discussion or workshop you'd like us to promo or attend tell us about it!
SELF DEFENSE CLASS
We're still working on getting a self-defense class organized. We know a few instructors, but we're also wondering if any of you know any awesome, lady self defense instructors you'd recommend who might work out a deal with us? Tell us if you do!
