.B.E.T.C.H. Rag #3!

Dear Supporters, Friends, Siblings, and Co Conspirators,

Hello, Beautiful Educated Thunder Cunts from Hell are coming out with our third issue of the .B.E.T.C.H. Rag zine and its the Mother of all .B.E.T.C.H. Rags. We want to examine our relationships with our mothers, forced and assumed maternal roles, being a mother outside of normal expectations, childrearing, the cross-section of the virgin/whore and the mother/child.  We want to hear both the good and the bad, the ups and downs, the layers and dimensions of your relationship or lack of a relationship with your mother, motherhood, maternal roles, infantilizing and identity formation.

Who acted as your mother? Who was she then and who is she now? How has your relationship changed and what have you realized about her now that you're older? Is motherhood positive or negative? What challenges have you faced in approaching motherhood and/or having motherhood imposed on you? We want to explore mothers in the context of patriarchy, in the context of love and in the context of understand and relating to women as whole beings, both good and bad.

We're looking forward to you thoughts, artwork, photography, drawings, poetry, interviews and essays. Thanks, as always, for sharing with us and helping us to make bad ass, thought provoking zines. The deadline for submissions is Friday November 11th.
