Dear Supporters, Friends, Siblings, and Co Conspirators,
Hello, Beautiful Educated Thunder Cunts from Hell are coming out with our third issue of the .B.E.T.C.H. Rag zine. This time around our theme is our mothers, ourselves: examining our relationships with our mothers. We want to hear both the good and the bad, the ups and downs, the layers and dimensions of your relationship or lack of a relationship with your mother.
Who acted as your mother? Was she your biological mother? A grandmother, a sister or an aunt? The woman down the street? Who was she then and who is she now? How has your relationship changed and what have you realized about her now that you're older? We want to explore these relationships in the context of patriarchy, in the context of love and in the context of understand and relating to women as whole beings, both good and bad.
We're looking forward to you thoughts, artwork, poetry, interviews and essays. Thanks, as always, for sharing with us and helping us to make bad ass, thought provoking zines. The deadline for submissions is Friday November 11th.
